Who We Are
First United Methodist Church Plano serves the areas of Plano, Richardson, Allen, Murphy, Wylie, Sachse, and all the other communities that surround us, and has been since 1847. We are more than just the “big church on the corner.” We are a community of diverse believers, and the bond we have with one another is our relationship with Jesus Christ, always striving to Connect God and Grace to Self and Community.
We are part of The United Methodist Church, a global Christian movement committed to following Jesus Christ and sharing God’s love with the world. United Methodists believe faith is meant to be lived out in everyday life, through worship, service, compassion, and justice.
